to test the emergency facilities in germany, a national test alarm was sent out on december 8th, 2022 arround 11 o’clock am. The alarm consisted of siren warnings, radio and television messages, as well as app and cell broadcast alarms, causing supported phones to make a horribly loud noise.

I’m posting two recordings from this occasion. First one is our old DS977 motor siren with the swelling test alarm tone. Unfortunately the siren at our market place isn’t active anymore, so you will hear the other sirens from the distance instead. I won’t bother you with the all clear signal as this is just a one minute continous alarm. Otherwise check out my keybase, I’ll post the recordings there as well.
