This is a recording I made to test a new sound device for my outside microphones, an Axagon ADA-17 if you’re curious. It has a 3.5 inch stereo input and provides a litte more plugin power than the usual 1.5V, a very rarely seen feature in cheap USB devices. To get an idea of the ground noise level I normalized the recording to 0dB. The result is fairly impressive, I even get worse results with my Olympus recorders.
You will hear our church bell striking ten, people talking about damaged traffic signs in the distance, noises from a heater, and one of my talking clocks at the beginning.
