It’s so cool to hear the corelation between the lightning and thunder, this could be used as an educational material 😀
Exactly. The time between the crackle and the thunder can be used to calculate the distance of the strike. One second correlates to approximately 300 metres (around 1000 feet), so this thing touched earth in 600 or 700 metres.
